Quick Update

Hello, my loyal tens of readers. As you might have seen, I haven’t been updating my blog much lately. Firstly, this was because I was completing some training, then because I had a new job and now because I’m super bummed out, what with all the goings on and what have you.

My novel Champagne Charlie and the Amazing Gladys is out. The launch I had planned is no longer going ahead physically, but I might do a virtual launch if I can figure out how. My marketing strategy for the book was very largely based on in person sales at cons and markets, and now I’m trying to move to a completely online marketing model. Wish me luck there.

So my plans for the blog in the near future: complete ‘Trilobite Park’. I’m a little unhappy with it — my usual South Hertling tactic of throwing eccentric characters into a small space and seeing what happens doesn’t seem to be working quite as well. Possibly the space is too small, or maybe the characters aren’t eccentric enough, but I’m not feeling it like I was feeling the earlier chapters. I think if I wrap it up soon, then I may get back into the South Hertling swing.

And the Frankenstein movies — been so long since I did those. I need to do some again, as soon as I have the time. I miss them.
